KKL GHQ Inaugurates 2027 Calendar and Official KKL T-Shirt
Churachandpur, October 2, 2026: The KKL GHQ organised a programme at the KKL GHQ Complex Office on Friday, October 2, 2026, marking the inauguration of the official KKL GHQ T-shirt and the KKL Calendar 2027.
The inauguration was conducted by Pastor Thenjang Haokip, Chaplain, KKL CHQ. The official KKL GHQ T-shirt has been introduced for members to wear during KKL programmes and activities, promoting a sense of unity, identity and fellowship among members of the organisation.
The KKL Calendar 2027 was published as part of the ongoing initiative to support the KKL GHQ Complex Building Project. The calendar is intended to contribute towards the development and construction of the Complex.
During the programme, Pastor Thenjang Haokip also offered a special prayer for the KKL Ambulance, praying for its smooth operation and that the vehicle may continue to serve people safely and effectively.
All members who attended the programme were presented with the official KKL GHQ T-shirt. In a gesture of appreciation and fellowship,KKL GHQ President Pu Ngamhao Haokip also presented an official KKL GHQ T-shirt to Pastor Thenjang Haokip.
The programme concluded with a group photograph of the members and participants, marking a memorable occasion for KKL GHQ.
The event reflected the organisation's continued commitment to strengthening unity among its members, supporting the KKL GHQ Complex Building Project, and serving the community through its various activities.

KKL GHQ
KUKI KHANGLAI LAWMPI(KKL) is a non-profiting, non governmental organisation-a philantrophic organisation of the KUKI community with its motto PANPI NGAITE PANPI-HELPING THE (NEEDY) HELPLESS.
It is a Philanthropic Organisation synonimous with the International Red Cross Society. The organisation was founded by Pu Onkholun Haokip in 1988. The founder and it first Executive Committee Registered KKL under registration no. 142/RR/19ii of Manipur Co-Operative Societies Act 1976.
The Organisation was founded in line with the Old Kuki traditional institution called LAWMPI/LOMPI. LAWMPI assist the Inpi (Chief's Court) in the Administration of the village and looked after the welfare of the village, which includes maintaining of water supply, upkept of the village sanitation, organise the village traditional fair and festival, assist individual ritual ceremony, took charge on the disposal of the dead bodies and most importantly assist the widow and orphans in their farming works. . Each and every member of the village youth automatically become a member of Lawmpi. The Lawmpi was administer by LAWM UPA and was assist by TOLLAI PAO and CHANGLOI.
